According to American Demographics magazine:
84% of U.S. people say their lives have been touched by Elvis Presley in some
way.
70% have watched a movie starring Presley.
44% have danced to one of his songs.
31% have bought an Elvis Presley record, CD or Video.
In 2005, Presley edged out Oprah Winfrey to be named the Greatest Entertainer in
American History, in a nationwide survey conducted by The Discovery Channel, a
fact echoed by a similar poll by Time and People Magazines.
In 2006, Atlantic Magazine asked 10 prominent historians to name the 100 most
infuencial Americans. Presley was ranked as the top musician on that list,
followed by Louis Armstrong.
Presley is the only artist to be inducted into all three music Halls of Fame,
and holds the record for most top 10 pop singles (40), the most gold and
platinum awards (139), and is the world’s best selling artist, eclipsing any other musician or group in history.
That’s the thing about the music of a legendary artist; it spans practically every
adult age group.
Its true that our concerts entertain fans who remember Elvis first hand, now in
their 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.
But as Presley’s music continues to be featured in main stream applications today (major
advertising campaigns, music retrospectives, etc.), music enthusiasts in their
20’s and 30’s are discovering the appealing aspects of his music, and are attending “E on the Strip” concerts to experience the Elvis sensation for themselves.

I remember Elvis as such an inspiring entertainer, and your show really captured
the spirit. The songs sounded just like Elvis’s, and many times during the show, I told my husband that it was just like we
